Rare Pinto (Bay Roan) Paso Fino For Sale SOLD

Harley is a rare Pinto (Bay Roan) Paso Fino. He is gaited, 15.1 + hands and is ready to complete in the summer Mountain Trail Competition as an In-hand Entry. Though Harley is just 3 years old, he has quite a bit of education, including a month of manners and light backing with Mitch and Hoover as a 2 year old and a month and a half with Lori Gorge of Daystar Farms Training Center.

Harley's skill list so far includes:

• Great Horse Camper
• Ponied from horseback and golf cart for miles on roads and in mountains
• Crosses bridges at home or on trails quietly
• Crosses "Tippy" bridge forwards and backwards (yes, backwards)
• Accustomed to hides, pig, cow, and coyote
• Walks through 5"diameter plastic kiddie pool with water
• Backs thru "L", side passes, haunch and forehand turns
• Excellent ground manners
• Good for first set of shoes
• Works with carts and carriages, tractors, bicycles, etc daily
• Accustomed to llamas, chickens, donkeys, etc.
• Walks thru tires - willing to learn any obstacle
• Great pack horse travel out but quiet
• Trained to saddle up to anything for mounting
• Lightly backed in halter - will be under saddle in soon
• Type of rider/handler - not beginner as I would say for any youngster just starting.

Harley's boldness about the world will make him bombproof as he is finished, but needs a handler who can "boss back". He is extremely happy when you are the leader. Was always nippy like some colts, so not good if you feed lots of treats or are timid.

Grey Warmblood (T-B/Percheron) mare, 15 yrs. Kind, uncomplicated impeccably trained. Great work ethic, light to hand and leg. Best canter ever. Shown training level only as a green horse because rider got crippled, scored 72+ % with 8's on gaits, impulsion and submission. 'great on trails and roads, perfect manners, great lesson horse schooling third level, half pass trot and learning canter half pass. Drives single cart and started in team to a drag. Impossible to explain how big a smile every rider has when riding her. Always sound and happy.
